Full-Keyed Shafting

Versa-Mount, Inc. stocks popular items of shafting and has many types for which to choose. The types are as follows in non-keyed:

• 1018 Cold Rolls in 20-foot sections
• 1045 TGP (Turn Ground and Polished) in 24-foot sections
• 1144 TGP (Turn Ground and Polished) in Metric OD 20-foot sections (20 mm to 65 mm)
• Various 4140 grade material
• 303 Bearing Grade Stainless Steel in 12-foot sections
• 304 Bearing Grade Stainless Steel in 12-foot sections

Shaft Lengths Ready Keyed in Stock in 1018 CR and 303 SS

• 3 ft
• 4 ft
• 6 ft
• 8 ft
• 10 ft
• 12 ft

Shafting above 12 ft will have to be keyed. Allow up to a week to ship.

Shafting in 1045 TGP, 1144 TGP, 4140 and 304 SS will be keyed upon purchase order. Allow up to three (3) weeks to ship.

1. Reduced expensive down time.
2. No need to save the old shaft for a pattern.
3. No need to take an assembly apart in order to measure keyway locations.
4. Tolerances on the O.D. and in the keyway are held very close.
5. No need for sample shafts or drawings.
